In this video I talk with two grief counselors who help us understand that grieving is unique to each one.  Although this one is about grieving the loss of a loved-one, I think it applies to all of us who are grieving in some way over the loss of life as we used to know it.

Youth and Health in 90 Seconds

Here’s a transcript of the above clip:

 The mental practice of imbuing yourself with youth and health, and seeing the light of youth and health entering your body and going through your entire body, and exiting out your toes and fingers.  It’s a wonderful process for everybody.  All of you should be using this every day:  to just sit for a moment as you are even doing your breath practice, and to see the pink/yellow/white light come into the body through the crown, and diffuse itself throughout the body, and then go out in the beautiful white, yellow and pink light out of the toes and the fingers – for one minute, every single day.

That will bring more youthfulness and more health into all areas.  Because you see it diffuse throughout all the organs of the system, the blood vessels, the tissue, everything.  You see it fill your body with health and vitality.  And then go out, leaving you tingling.

So all of you should be practicing this every day.  One minute is all it takes. Every day.  Make a practice to remind each other to do this every single day.  One minute.  And you will begin to feel more alive, and more enthused, and more motivated, and more able to be physical.  So be it.

The Oak Door Practice
Here’s a little practice that came through one day recently that I invite you to use. It can lead to some truly useful and inspiring revelations.  Read it through so you can remember the steps and do them with your eyes closed.
This is it:

“Close your eyes. Breathe. See a door in front of you. It’s a large, heavy oaken door and it stands just slightly ajar. Step up to the door. Put your hand on it and give it a little push to open it further. What happens? How do you feel? What do you see? Or hear? Or smell? Sit with it for a minute. Take a deep, slow breath. And then go on about your day.

And do it again tomorrow.” [End of Transmission]

 

Do this for a few days and see if you don’t get some useful images, insights, direction.
